I am Tara Hope — an author, international speaker, and storyteller devoted to helping children and parents uncover their true identity and live out their God-given purpose.
My Heartbeat
From a young age, I felt the ache of not knowing who I was or where I fit. I understand what it feels like to believe you’re not enough.
But everything changed when I discovered that my value didn’t come from the world — it came from the One who created me.
Now, my greatest joy is helping families experience that same freedom and truth.
I’ve seen firsthand what happens when a child realizes they were made on purpose, for a purpose. Their confidence blooms. Their compassion grows. And their light begins to shine in ways that change entire families.
The Mission
We live in a world that’s constantly trying to define us — telling children who they should be, what they should want, and how they should act.
But there’s another voice, still and steady, whispering, “You are Mine.”
Through children’s books, live storytelling, and seminars, I help families hear that voice again — the voice of Truth that restores identity and ignites purpose.
My stories are more than words on a page; they’re invitations to remember who you were created to be.

It’s not a slogan. It’s a declaration of truth. Every person — no matter how small, forgotten, or uncertain — carries the fingerprints of their Creator.
This isn’t a boisterous statement, rather, it is a declaration of the truth of who every human being has been created to be… We are not random chance, but intentional design for a unique purpose to bring good to the world around us.
When we begin to see ourselves and our children through that lens, everything changes. Confidence replaces comparison. Purpose replaces confusion.
That’s why every message, every book, and every talk I share comes back to this one truth: The Great I Am is Kind of a Big Deal and He thinks You are Too!

Tara's Story
Tara Hope Boehlke writes children’s stories for the same reason Jesus told parables—because simple stories can carry eternal truth. Jesus used everyday imagery and gentle narratives to reveal the Father’s heart in ways that reached both children and adults. Tara’s stories follow that same pattern, springing from her own journey of loss, healing, and redemption.
Tara has walked through valleys that could have destroyed her—the heartbreaking death of a daughter,
the tragic loss of a husband, seasons of deep grief, loneliness, and rebuilding, and the tender miracle of finding love again.
Yet through every dark place, Jesus met her.
He comforted, restored, healed, and called her forward.
He turned mourning into dancing, ashes into beauty, and sorrow into a new assignment:
to tell stories that bring hope.
Today, Tara travels the world as an evangelist, sharing the love of Jesus and the message of identity and purpose found only in Him. Her children’s books are an extension of that calling—they are modern-day parables shaped by her testimony.
Through a dump truck discovering its true design, a nightingale raised among turtles who longs to sing, a daughter welcomed home with joy, or a young boy becoming an unlikely king, Tara weaves stories that whisper to every child (and every grown heart): “You were made on purpose. You are loved. You are chosen. And the Father has written something beautiful over your life.”
Her books carry warmth and whimsy, but also deep truth: identity, belonging, courage, healing, and the Father’s everlasting love. Tara writes because she knows what it feels like to lose everything and what it means to be held by the One who gives everything back redeemed.
Her stories are her offering—parables for a new generation—planting seeds of hope, purpose, and faith around the world.
