At I Am Tara Hope, we want you to know this truth...

You are Kind of a Big Deal! ✨

Through heartfelt storytelling and power filled messages, author and speaker

Tara Hope Boehlke empowers children and families to discover their true identity,

recognize their true value, and live out their true purpose.

Whether writing books or speaking both locally and internationally, Tara’s mission

remains the same: to shine a light on Truth and remind every heart that they were

created on purpose, for a purpose, by a loving Creator who calls them His own.

Tara's first book

Petie the Pathetic Dump Truck

Petie the Pathetic Dump Truck isn't just a story for kids. It's a story for all of us. This powerful allegory helps children (and the adults who read it with them) discover identity, purpose, and the truth that our Maker defines who we are--not the world around us.

"The world told him he was pathetic. His Maker said he was powerful."

Take this story home. Read it to your children, your grandchildren, your Sunday school class. It's more than a book--it's a tool to help shape hearts and reveal truth.

Tara’s new Children’s Book Petie the Pathetic Dump Truck Celebrates a Joyful Launch in Battle Ground, Washington

Battle Ground, WA — September 26, 2025 — Under bright blue skies and warm sunshine,

more than 25 families gathered at Founder’s Mercantile in Battle Ground, Washington, to

celebrate the official launch of Petie the Pathetic Dump Truck, the debut identity-affirming

children’s book by local author Tara Hope Boehlke.

The event was filled with community excitement and family fun. The Battle Ground Fire Department arrived with a full fire engine, delighting children who climbed aboard, met real firefighters, and posed for photos—all in honor of Petie’s big reveal as Pedro the Fierce Fire Truck, the hero of the story.

Founder’s Mercantile hosted the festivities, offering a warm and welcoming setting for book signings, readings, and conversations with families. The turnout surpassed expectations.

“This book is for every child who has ever

felt different, overlooked, or unsure of who

they are,” said author Tara Hope. “Petie’s

journey reminds us that we are intentionally

created, wonderfully made, and fully

equipped to walk in the purpose God

designed for us.”

The successful turnout and community support marked a milestone moment not only for Tara as an author, but also for Battle Ground’s growing creative and faith-centered community. Families left with signed copies, photos, and a renewed message that every child is “kind of a big deal”—a core theme of Tara’s brand and upcoming books.
